Seattle Women’s Homeownership Workshop: Learn DIY Skills, Boost Home Value, and Build Confidence
Owning a home is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. Whether you are navigating your first home, planning a renovation, or simply want to feel more empowered in caring for your space, this event is for you.
I’m teaming up with my friend and Realtor, Jennica Lynn, to host a Homeownership Workshop for Women on Thursday, September 18 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at 2201 Eastlake Ave E, Suite A, Seattle. Doors open at 6:15 pm.
What to Expect
This hands-on evening is designed to give you both knowledge and confidence as a homeowner. You will learn:
How to caulk your bathroom or kitchen with confidence
Simple, high-impact projects that can boost your home’s value
How to tap into and strategically use your home equity
Which upgrades buyers and appraisers actually care about
We’ll also enjoy wine, snacks, and conversation in a supportive, women-centered space. Along the way, you’ll hear directly from real handywomen about their experiences in the trades.
Why We’re Hosting This Event
At Hire Possibilities Home, my mission is to connect homeowners with trusted, vetted handy people, with a special focus on supporting handywomen. This workshop is an extension of that work. It’s not just about learning new skills—it’s about building confidence, community, and a stronger network of women helping women.
